Volkswagen India Launches Track Day Experience Platform for Performance Owners

Volkswagen India has announced the launch of Volkswagen Track Day Experiences, branded as VWe, establishing a structured experiential platform aimed at performance car owners and automotive enthusiasts across the country. The inaugural two-day driving event is scheduled to take place on October 10 and 11, 2026, at the CoASTT high-performance racing facility in Coimbatore.

The initiative is designed to bring owners of Volkswagen performance models closer to the brand through managed track exercises, technical masterclasses, and community building. Registration for the opening event is priced at Rs 2,500 per participant, welcoming owners from across the automaker's performance and sporty trim lineup.

The opening weekend is tailored specifically for owners of Volkswagen variants known for dynamic positioning in the Indian market. Eligible participants include those who own the Golf GTI, Tiguan R-Line, Tayron R-Line, Virtus GT, and Taigun GT models.

According to Volkswagen India, the platform marks the beginning of an expansive experiential strategy intended to maintain customer engagement well beyond the initial showroom purchase. By curating dedicated driving events, the company seeks to foster a community around its performance-focused engineering portfolio.

The Coimbatore circuit features a 3.8-kilometer configuration with 14 turns, providing a technical backdrop for structured driving exercises. Attendees will participate in lead-and-follow track sessions, autocross challenges, slalom exercises, go-karting, and dedicated vehicle handling demonstrations.

In addition to tarmac events, the programme includes a dedicated off-road obstacle course to test SUV capabilities. All driving modules will be conducted under the direct instruction of professional driving experts to accommodate varying skill levels among participants.

Beyond driving drills, the VWe platform incorporates technical masterclasses where owners can gain a deeper understanding of vehicle dynamics, weight transfer, and chassis behavior. These sessions are intended to build driver confidence in controlled environments.

The weekend schedule also features owner networking sessions, hospitality areas, family-friendly activities, and interactive brand zones. A special recognition segment is planned to celebrate individual owner stories, community achievements, and milestones within the Volkswagen performance community, with media representatives also slated to attend the inaugural chapter.
