Samsung Deploys Second One UI 9 Beta to Galaxy S24 Lineup

Samsung has initiated the rollout of its second One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series, delivering several artificial intelligence and software features that previously debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 flagships. The fresh beta build, identified by firmware version ending in ZZI4, carries a download size exceeding 600MB depending on the specific model and regional market.

Discovered by tipster Tarun Vats and corroborated by community members on Reddit, the update expands Samsung's suite of device intelligence tools to its 2024 flagship lineup following similar deployments for the Galaxy S25 range. Beyond software additions, the package incorporates targeted bug fixes addressing stability issues in the camera app, Bixby Vision translations, and intermittent crashes within the Contacts application.

The secondary beta release introduces several prominent capabilities previously restricted to newer foldable devices, bridging the generational software gap for users retaining their 2024 hardware. Among the additions is Now Nudge, designed to deliver proactive on-screen suggestions based on current user activity. Another key inclusion is My FanCam, a Gallery enhancement that analyzes video recordings to isolate a specific subject and automatically generate a zoomed-in clip focusing on that individual.

Additional communication and productivity tools accompany the release. Call Brief integration brings automated event and context summaries directly to the call screen during active voice conversations.
