Jean Smart achieved a historic milestone by capturing her eighth acting Emmy, tying Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Cloris Leachman for the most overall acting wins in Emmy history. Smart secured the lead actress in a comedy series honor for Hacks, marking the first time an actor has won lead category recognition for every single season of a series. In the comedy race, Matthew Rhys claimed lead actor honors for 'Widow's Bay,' while supporting categories went to Stephen Root and Kate O'Flynn from the same production.

In the dramatic categories, Noah Wyle took home lead actor in a drama series for 'The Pitt,' and Rhea Seehorn secured lead actress recognition for 'Pluribus.'
