Nvidia Introduces Four-Month GeForce Now Membership Plans in India

American technology corporation Nvidia has introduced four-month subscription tiers for its GeForce Now cloud gaming service in India, providing domestic consumers with discounted multi-month pricing compared to standard monthly renewals, according to reports by The Times of India on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The multi-month membership options went live immediately across regional digital storefronts, with the Performance tier priced at Rs 3,499 and the Ultimate tier retailing at Rs 6,999. Both extended plans preserve the complete feature sets and streaming capabilities available on standard single-month subscriptions, which remain actively available for purchase. The plans reduce the four-month cost compared with purchasing the corresponding monthly subscriptions separately.
Multi-Month Subscription Launch and Pricing
The four-month pricing structure offers measurable cost reductions across both streaming tiers. Four consecutive months of single-month Performance subscriptions at Rs 1,000 per month totals Rs 4,000, meaning the bundled four-month option saves around Rs 500 for subscribers. Subscribers opting for the Ultimate plan save just over Rs 1,000 compared against four individual monthly payments of Rs 2,000. On an annualized basis, the bundled packages reduce recurring cloud gaming expenditures to roughly Rs 875 per month for Performance and Rs 1,750 per month for Ultimate.
Consumer Cost Savings and Effective Rates
Technical parameters between the two subscription tiers remain differentiated by server-side hardware allocations. The Performance tier enables cloud game streaming at visual resolutions reaching 1440p at 60 frames per second with maximum continuous session durations of six hours. The premium Ultimate tier operates on advanced RTX 5080-class hardware, supporting up to 5K resolution at 120 frames per second or up to 360 frames per second at 1080p, while integrating DLSS 4 visual upscaling and Reflex latency reduction technologies alongside eight-hour session allowances. Nvidia applies a 100-hour monthly playtime allowance to these paid tiers, with further usage governed by its published membership terms.
In January 2025, Nvidia announced GeForce NOW server hardware upgrades to Blackwell-class GPUs to achieve higher concurrency per server rack and lower cost per streaming session.
Streaming Hardware Specifications and Playtime Rules
Subscribers must continue to own licensed game titles through linked external digital distribution storefronts such as Steam or the Epic Games Store, as GeForce Now operates as a remote cloud streaming conduit rather than a direct digital storefront. Recent gaming additions include action release Phantom Blade Zero, while World of Warcraft: Forever is scheduled to join the platform on November 4, accompanied by an exclusive digital reward available across all subscription tiers from November 4 to 11 while supplies last. Furthermore, Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered gained native mod.io support enabling community modifications, as nine total gaming titles were integrated into the streaming library during the weekly catalog refresh.
