Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh inaugurated the Northeast region's first artificial intelligence-enabled Career Intelligence Hub at Tamphasana Girls' Higher Secondary School in Imphal on Saturday. The innovative educational facility was established under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme to deliver technology-driven career guidance. The center represents a pioneer initiative in integrating digital intelligence tools into regional secondary education, according to The Hindu. The intelligence center provides enrolled students with customized aptitude evaluations, individualized academic mentoring, and real-time updates regarding emerging professional careers. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister underscored that artificial intelligence technology is expanding rapidly and reshaping global employment sectors.

Digital Guidance Architecture and Parliamentary Sponsorship

Singh highlighted that modern digital guidance platforms enable students to assess individual capabilities and select tailored academic pathways. The Chief Minister expressed formal appreciation to Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament A Sharda Devi for facilitating development funding. He similarly recognized administrative contributions from the state Education Department and teaching faculty members who coordinated center implementation. During his address, the Chief Minister commended local students for maintaining academic focus and declining to engage in civil agitations over recent months. He urged student groups to maintain personal maturity and prioritize educational attainment rather than becoming entangled in public demonstrations during challenging periods. Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh emphasised that Classes XI and XII were crucial target academic stages in shaping students' academic and professional futures through the guidance facility, according to The Sentinel.

Youth Engagement and National Children's Science Congress

Singh appealed to civic organizations and student bodies to embrace constructive dialogue as the primary vehicle for addressing community grievances. The gathering also coincided with the opening of the state-level National Children's Science Congress at the same institutional venue. Organized through a partnership between the Manipur Upliftment Centre and Samagra Shiksha, the scientific congress focused on environmental health ecosystems. Academic records show that 39 student leaders representing academic institutions across 12 administrative districts were shortlisted for congress participation. Participants showcased experimental environmental projects exploring practical community health interventions and local ecosystem conservation methods. Chief Minister Singh inaugurated the 32nd National Children's Science Congress across 12 districts under the theme of understanding ecosystems for health and well-being, according to The Sentinel.

Public Health Milestones and Regional Human Capital

In public health remarks, the Chief Minister noted progress in controlling disease transmission across vulnerable border districts. He recognized Imphal West and Pherzawl districts for achieving safe operational milestones under national disease prevention programs. The national benchmark certifies that 95% of individuals living with human immunodeficiency virus receive diagnostic awareness, treatment, and viral suppression. State medical records reflect an adult prevalence between 1.05% and 1.18%, compared to the wider national prevalence estimate of roughly 0.2%. The newly inaugurated educational hub establishes a progressive foundation for equipping young students in Manipur with competitive digital career competencies.
