The upcoming sci-fi action drama Raaka, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee, has secured a Guinness World Record for the most people motion-captured in real-time. The achievement was officially recognized on September 15, 2026, in Mumbai, involving the simultaneous capture of 37 performers for a single sequence.

Sun Pictures, the production house behind the project, announced the milestone on September 21 to coincide with director Atlee's 40th birthday. The studio shared official documentation of Allu Arjun and Atlee receiving the certificate, alongside behind-the-scenes footage demonstrating the technical scale of the motion-capture process. Allu Arjun described the recognition as a proud moment for the entire production team.

The record-breaking sequence utilized 37 performers captured in a single real-time session, a feat that underscores the film's reliance on advanced visual effects. Behind-the-scenes materials released by the studio highlight the involvement of international technicians, including artists previously associated with the Fast and Furious and Spider-Man franchises. Cibi Chakaravarthi, who has viewed early visuals from the project, compared the scale of the production to global benchmarks, suggesting the film aims to elevate Indian cinema on the international stage.

While official plot details remain guarded, the film is widely reported to be a sci-fi drama exploring parallel universes. Speculation suggests Allu Arjun may portray four distinct roles, including a grandfather, a father, and two sons, though these character details have not been confirmed by the studio. The project features an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures, with music composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
