Hyundai Outlines 26 Car Launches in India by 2030 Backed by Expansion

Hyundai Motor India has outlined an ambitious product roadmap featuring 26 vehicle introductions by fiscal year 2030 across both internal combustion and electrified platforms. The long-term portfolio expansion encompasses seven completely new nameplates alongside next-generation iterations of the popular Creta and i10, an indigenous electric utility vehicle, an MPV, and an off-roader. A massive capital commitment of 45,000 crore rupees underpins the product offensive as the automaker consolidates manufacturing operations in Maharashtra. The immediate milestone in this rollout arrives on October 26, 2026, when official pricing for the Bayon crossover will be revealed to domestic consumers. The carmaker is also preparing an India-engineered A-segment electric crossover for commercial release during the closing quarter of 2026. The forthcoming compact electric vehicle will provide two distinct battery configurations delivering an estimated driving range exceeding 450 kilometres on a full charge. The South Korean manufacturer also intends to introduce its dedicated luxury brand Genesis into the Indian automotive market within the upcoming year. Production capacity at the newly inaugurated Talegaon factory near Pune will escalate from 1.70 lakh units annually to 3.20 lakh vehicles by 2030. Combined manufacturing output across the Chennai and Pune production facilities is scheduled to reach 11.44 lakh passenger vehicles annually by the end of the decade.
The third-gen Hyundai Creta midsize SUV will get a hybrid powertrain option in 2027.
For India, the strategy centres on raising export volumes to around 30% of local production by 2030, up from roughly 21% in the last financial year.
