Honda Elevate Facelift Set for October 6 Launch in India

Honda Cars India is scheduled to launch the updated Elevate SUV on October 6, 2026, marking the model's first significant update since its 2023 introduction. The company has opened pre-launch bookings across its authorized dealership network with a booking amount of Rs 21,000. India will serve as the first global market to receive this refreshed version of the mid-size SUV.
Honda Cars India officially released promotional teasers confirming the Elevate facelift will launch on October 6, with pre-orders open for Rs 21,000.
Exterior and Design Revisions
The facelifted Elevate retains the overall silhouette of the outgoing model but introduces a more distinctive front-end design. Key changes include a redesigned grille and the relocation of the Honda logo from the grille to the leading edge of the bonnet. The SUV now features connected LED daytime running lights (DRLs) at the front and is expected to incorporate a connected lightbar at the rear. While the 17-inch alloy wheels appear similar to the current version, the overall lighting elements have been tweaked to provide a refreshed visual identity.
The outgoing Honda Elevate retails from Rs 11.80 lakh to Rs 16.77 lakh ex-showroom, with the facelift expected to carry a premium for added equipment.
Interior and Technology Upgrades
Significant equipment enhancements are expected within the cabin to improve competitiveness against segment rivals. The updated interior features a lighter color theme with increased use of white leatherette padding and additional stitching on the dashboard and door panels. A notable addition is the integration of ambient lighting directly into the cabin design, replacing the dealer-level accessory solution used previously. Other anticipated features include a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a powered front passenger seat. According to CarAndBike, the ADAS suite is also expected to receive updates, though the full feature list remains subject to official confirmation at the launch event.
Powertrain and Market Positioning
The Elevate facelift will retain its existing mechanical package, powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine producing 120 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission options remain unchanged, with the engine paired to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-step CVT automatic with paddle shifters. Despite market speculation, there is no confirmation regarding the introduction of a turbo-petrol engine or the strong-hybrid powertrain currently available in the Honda City. The updated SUV will continue to compete in the mid-size SUV segment against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
The Elevate facelift is expected to continue with a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT automatic transmission.
