Director Abhijeet Deshpande has officially confirmed a new Hindi web series based on the life of former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli. Produced by Ravi Bhagchandka's 200NotOut Productions—the same team behind the acclaimed Sachin: A Billion Dreams documentary—the series aims to capture the full narrative scope of Kambli's life. Deshpande, who began developing the script in 2019, opted for a multi-episode series format rather than a feature film to provide the depth necessary to cover Kambli’s dramatic career highs and personal challenges.

The project is framed as a human-centric drama rather than a conventional sports film. It seeks to document the complex journey of a promising young talent navigating the intense pressures of international cricket.
