VentureBeat has appointed industry veteran Rob Strechay as its first Lead Analyst to anchor the newly formed VentureBeat Research division. Strechay, who brings nearly three decades of experience from his previous tenures at theCUBE Research and SiliconANGLE, will oversee data-driven analysis aimed at technical decision-makers. His mandate includes dissecting the complex realities of enterprise AI deployment, specifically focusing on cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevOps observability.

The initiative leverages the established VB Pulse survey framework, which tracks critical enterprise adoption metrics across five pillars, including agentic security and AI infrastructure.
