The Traitors Season 2 Trailer Released Ahead of August Launch

Prime Video officially unveiled the trailer for The Traitors Season 2, setting the stage for the reality competition streaming debut on August 13, 2026. Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the unscripted series was filmed against the luxurious backdrop of Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The production gathers 21 celebrity contestants from Bollywood, television, music, and digital platforms to participate in a high-stakes game defined by suspicion, secret alliances, and deception.

The psychological competition secretly divides participants into two groups: Innocents and covertly assigned Traitors chosen by host Karan Johar. During nighttime rounds, the Traitors meet in secret to eliminate an Innocent contestant from the game. The entire cast gathers each morning at the Circle of Shaq to debate suspicions and vote to banish a player believed to be a Traitor. If any Traitor survives until the finale, they claim the entire prize pot, whereas surviving Innocents share the money if all Traitors are eliminated.

The newly released trailer features tense verbal exchanges between cast members, including a notable dialogue between Mallika Sherawat and Rhea Chakraborty, as well as personal discussions by Shweta Tiwari. The diverse contestant lineup includes notable public figures such as Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Malhan, Dalip Tahil, and Sahil Salathia. Audiences across India and international markets can stream the entire second season exclusively on Prime Video starting August 13, 2026.
