Swara Bhasker and Avika Gor Hospitalised Following Dengue Diagnosis

Television actress Avika Gor, famous for her role as Anandi in Balika Vadhu, has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after testing positive for dengue. Her husband, Milind Chandwani, shared a video on social media confirming she suffered from a high fever of 103 to 104 degrees for five days. Despite her deteriorating condition, Gor travelled to Delhi to complete her professional shooting commitments. Her health worsened further upon her return, leading to her immediate hospitalisation once the medical test reports confirmed the dengue diagnosis.

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has also been hospitalised after contracting dengue. Bhasker shared a photo from her hospital bed on social media with the caption "Dengue-fied and hospitalised" to inform her followers about her health status. Both actresses are currently receiving medical treatment in Mumbai as they recover from the viral infection. Gor’s husband praised her immense dedication to her craft, noting that she worked through severe pain to ensure that her professional commitments did not result in financial losses for the project producers.

The hospitalisations highlight the ongoing seasonal risk of dengue in urban centers like Mumbai. Gor is currently a contestant on the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 and recently appeared in the Telugu film Ugly Story. She began her career as a child artist in Ssshhhh... Koi Hai before gaining national fame in Balika Vadhu and Sasural Simar Ka. Fans and members of the film industry have expressed their concern and posted wishes for the swift recovery of both actresses as they undergo clinical observation in Mumbai.
