The movie, which was originally scheduled to hit screens on May 14, 2026, faced a last-minute disruption due to unresolved financial obligations. Despite the ensuing public uncertainty and a one-day delay, the film eventually reached audiences and established itself as a commercial success at the box office, generating substantial revenue after the behind-the-scenes hurdles were cleared.

Suriya publicly acknowledged the critical role played by his wife, Jyothika, whose trust and support allowed him to navigate the high-stakes risk of securing extra loans to finalize the film.
