Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently negotiating a record-breaking music rights deal worth approximately ₹50 crore for his upcoming movie King. Leading record labels including Sony, Saregama, and T-Series are actively bidding for the album. While Zee Music is reportedly frontrunning the acquisition, the company's CEO Punit Goenka confirmed that talks are still ongoing. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action film is scheduled for a theatrical release during the Christmas 2026 weekend.

The musical score for King is being composed by the popular duo Sachin-Jigar, driving massive industry interest and high bidding valuations. Production is currently in its final stages with only 15 days of shooting left to complete. The crew has planned a final international schedule for August 2026, while post-production and editing are already moving in full swing. If finalized at ₹50 crore, this agreement will rank as the third-largest music deal in modern Hindi cinema history, closely trailing the Ramayana franchise.

The film also features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles.
