Samsung Launches 2026 Innovation Campus to Train 20,000 Youth in AI

Samsung India has officially announced the launch of the 2026 edition of its flagship corporate social responsibility program, the Samsung Innovation Campus. In close partnership with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India and the Telecom Sector Skill Council, the company aims to train 20,000 young individuals in artificial intelligence across 10 states. This initiative builds on a solid foundation established since its inception in 2022, which has already successfully trained over 26,500 young people nationwide.

This large-scale training rollout comes at a critical time when India's artificial intelligence ecosystem faces a notable talent gap, currently quantified at 42% according to a recent market study. Despite strong momentum that recorded 83,100 AI-related hires from 2022 through August 2026 as per Nomura Holdings Inc., skilling initiatives remain essential to meet expanding corporate demand. The curriculum is specifically designed to supply industry-ready talent directly into India's rapidly scaling technology workforce.

Over the coming months, participating students across the designated states will undergo rigorous technical instruction covering core artificial intelligence frameworks and real-world applications. By aligning educational modules with industry requirements, Samsung seeks to future-proof the career trajectories of young Indian technologists. Educational institutions and regional skilling centers will coordinate closely to roll out these structured programs ahead of the next academic cycle.
