RSS Leader Atul Limaye Slams CJP Movement

Atul Limaye, the Joint General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has issued a stern warning against emerging youth movements that he claims are detrimental to India's democratic fabric. Speaking to members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Limaye urged students to decode what he termed the "Grammar of Anarchy." He specifically pointed to the CJP movement as an example of an organized effort to subvert democratic institutions from within. Limaye emphasized that the youth must remain vigilant against ideologies that seek to disrupt social harmony under the guise of activism.

The RSS leader's comments specifically targeted the CJP movement, which has recently gained traction among certain student groups and activists. Limaye argued that these movements are not merely spontaneous protests but are part of a deliberate "chronology" designed to weaken the state's authority. He called on nationalistic student organizations to study these movements closely to understand their underlying motives. The term "Grammar of Anarchy" refers to B.R. Ambedkar's historical warning about the use of unconstitutional methods in a democratic setup, which Limaye invoked to frame the current protests as anti-national in nature.

The remarks have triggered a sharp reaction from Opposition leaders, most notably Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut. Raut slammed the RSS, calling Limaye's remarks "anti-constitutional" and an attempt to stifle legitimate dissent in the country. Other critics, including activist Abhijeet Dipke, have hit back at the RSS, stating that the organization is attempting to label any democratic protest as an act of subversion. This ideological clash highlights the deepening polarization in Indian politics as the government and its affiliates tighten their scrutiny of student-led movements and civil society groups.
