Roblox Launches AI Build Tool and Adds Hindi Language Support

Roblox has unveiled a new mobile-first AI tool named Build, which allows users to generate playable 3D games through simple text prompts. This feature, integrated into the Roblox mobile app, enables creators to describe environments, game mechanics, and visual styles, which the platform's proprietary and open-source AI models then translate into editable scenes. The system is designed to streamline development for casual users while allowing seamless transitions between mobile and desktop creation through a shared backend with Roblox Studio.

In a major push for regional accessibility, Roblox has officially introduced full Hindi language support across its platform, Creator Hub, and Studio interface. Users can now switch their settings to Hindi to view in-game strings, game names, and descriptions in their native language. To further support this, the company has enabled Hindi SEO indexing, helping local developers improve the visibility of their experiences for the massive Indian user base. Future updates are expected to include automated chat translation to bridge communication gaps for Hindi-speaking users.

Roblox's strategy focuses on democratizing game development and ensuring higher engagement within diverse global markets, particularly India. Alongside the Build tool, the company is rolling out AI-powered agents to assist with bug detection, performance analytics, and player engagement optimization. The Build feature will begin public alpha testing in New Zealand on July 28, with a global rollout to follow. These tools are subject to strict safety and moderation checks, with content created via the Build tool restricted to verified users aged 16 and older.
