Sagar argued that Kapoor carries significant "baggage" from his previous intense and gritty role in the blockbuster film 'Animal'. According to Sagar, such established cinematic personas can make it difficult for audiences to accept an actor in a role as spiritually and culturally significant as a divine deity. He emphasized that for characters like Rama, a fresh face often works better as they lack predefined public perceptions that might conflict with the character's sanctity.
