Congress leader Rahul Gandhi intensified his criticism of the central government, alleging that Chinese forces have prevented the Indian Army from patrolling several strategic locations in Arunachal Pradesh. Speaking shortly after the conclusion of the Monsoon Session, Gandhi claimed that the government's silence on border issues is emboldening foreign incursions. These remarks follow similar concerns raised by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who sought formal answers regarding increased Chinese activity along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The BJP leadership targeted Rahul Gandhi, claiming that 'one leader’s ego' was responsible for the repeated disruptions that stalled legislative business.
