Priyanka Gandhi Attacks PM Modi Over Camera Focus Amid Student Protests

Rahul Gandhi labeled Joshi a defender of rapists, citing the minister's past defense of the early release of convicts in the Bilkis Bano case. Opposition members questioned the ethical standing of appointing Joshi to lead the Education Ministry amidst nationwide student unrest over the NEET paper leak. K.C. The government continued its push for a new, tougher anti-paper leak bill designed to curb examination malpractice. While some BJP members praised the Prime Minister's leadership, the Congress party dismissed the bill as an admission of systemic failure. Gaurav Gogoi argued that the legislation does not address the root causes of administrative lapses. The session remains deadlocked as the INDIA bloc demands a formal discussion on the alleged use of pellet guns against student protesters, while the government maintains its focus on passing the amendment bill.
