PNB Scam: Court Rejects Purvi Modi's Plea In CBI Probe

A special CBI judge has dismissed a plea filed by Purvi Modi, the sister of fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi, in the Punjab National Bank fraud case. The court observed that an accused does not have the legal standing to dictate the course or manner of a criminal investigation. Purvi Modi is listed as accused number 31 in the Central Bureau of Investigation's second supplementary charge sheet.
