Namo Bharat Corridor Expands Capacity To Meet Demand

The Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor has successfully reached a ridership milestone of 100,000 daily passengers, leading the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) to add 18 daily trips. This expansion addresses the growing demand for efficient regional connectivity in the national capital region. Officials indicate that the system is now designed to accommodate even higher frequencies, with the capacity to run trains as often as every three minutes if necessary.
