The exterior design of the upcoming MG Hector Tomahawk EV has been leaked, providing a first look at the SUV ahead of its official India launch on August 26, 2026. Spy shots confirm a 7-seater configuration featuring bench-style second-row seating. This model marks the debut of JSW MG Motor India's new ADAPT platform, signaling a significant shift in the company's electric vehicle architecture strategy.

The vehicle is expected to be packed with premium features, including a 12.8-inch touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, and an advanced ADAS suite. Powering the electric variant is a single front-axle motor producing 201hp and 310Nm of torque, supported by a 69.2 kWh LFP battery pack. The company claims a range of up to 530 km under CLTC conditions, positioning it as a strong contender in the premium electric SUV segment.

Beyond the pure electric version, a plug-in hybrid variant is also anticipated, combining a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 20.5 kWh battery to offer 125 km of all-electric range.
