MeitY Unveils Mandatory AI Ethics Framework for Indian Public Sector Adoption

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has officially introduced a comprehensive AI Ethics Framework designed to govern the development and deployment of artificial intelligence within India's public sector. This policy establishes strict guidelines centered on fairness, transparency, accountability, and data privacy, aiming to mitigate algorithmic bias while ensuring that AI-driven government services remain equitable for all citizens.
