Ladakh Civil Groups Present Non-Negotiable Demands to MHA

Representatives from Ladakh civil society groups, including the Leh Apex Body (LAB) and Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA), have formally submitted a comprehensive list of non-negotiable demands to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) officials and the Chief Secretary in Leh. Prominent activist Sonam Wangchuk joined the delegation, emphasizing the urgency of the dialogue as the region prepares to observe September as a dedicated month of remembrance and agitation for its core political objectives.

The current push for legislative protection follows ongoing regional frustrations regarding administrative governance and political representation.
