Kyiv Warehouse Strike Kills 38: Ukraine Opens Probe

A devastating Russian drone strike on a military munitions depot in the town of Myla, near Kyiv's western suburbs, has killed at least 38 people and injured dozens more. The strike occurred on August 29, 2026, causing massive secondary explosions and fires that damaged 50 residential buildings, including a care home for elderly and disabled citizens. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the depot housed explosive objects, shells, and drones, which detonated on a significant scale.
