Indian Motorcycle Unveils Limited Edition Chief Vintage Sturgis Model

Indian Motorcycle has unveiled a highly exclusive Chief Vintage Sturgis Edition to honor the 86th anniversary of the historic Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. This limited-production run is strictly capped at 125 units globally, with each motorcycle featuring individually serialized badges that celebrate the brand's 125th anniversary and the rally’s origins that trace back to 1938.

The model is powered by the robust Thunderstroke 116 V-twin engine, generating 156 Nm of torque. It features a nostalgic two-tone Indian Motorcycle Red and Cream paint scheme, alongside historical design cues such as a painted number 56 on the side plate to honor J.C. Pappy Hoel. The bike combines vintage aesthetic elements like valanced fenders and a brown Vintage Espresso solo seat with modern technology, including RIDE COMMAND GPS navigation and LED lighting.

While the Sturgis Edition represents a significant piece of motorcycling history, Indian Motorcycle has confirmed that the bike will only be available in select international markets, excluding India. With a starting price of $23,999, the model serves as a premium collector's piece for enthusiasts of the brand's heritage, reflecting the evolving landscape of limited-run manufacturing in the premium motorcycle sector.
