This performance represents a substantial recovery from the previous week, where funding totaled only $107 million across 27 transactions, signaling renewed investor confidence in the domestic innovation ecosystem.

Artificial Intelligence companies emerged as the primary drivers of this capital influx. Emergent led the charge by securing $130 million from prominent investors including Creaegis, MNI Ventures, and Khosla Ventures. Additionally, Reo.Dev successfully closed an $11.3 million Series A round, further highlighting the intense investor appetite for specialized AI solutions and infrastructure platforms within the Indian market.

Beyond pure-play AI, the B2B sector also saw significant activity, with Udaan raising $160 million through a strategic mix of fresh equity, debt issuance, and debt-to-equity conversion.
