India Clinches Boxing Gold Treble at CWG 2026: Chaudhary and Ghanghas Triumph

India’s boxing contingent secured three major medals on a high-stakes day at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Sakshi Chaudhary won the gold medal in the women’s 51kg category after a clinical performance against England’s Ruby White. Priya Ghanghas followed suit by clinching the gold in the women’s 60kg division, defeating Canada’s Marie-Bathoul Al-Ahmadieh. Sakshi Chaudhary dominated her final by utilizing her reach advantage to control the ring from the opening bell. The judges awarded her a unanimous decision victory after she won the first two rounds convincingly. Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha presented the medals to the victorious athletes during the ceremony in Birmingham.
