Opposition MPs March To Gandhi Smriti Over Paper Leaks

A delegation of INDIA bloc Members of Parliament, led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, visited Gandhi Smriti to pay homage to students who reportedly took their own lives following recent paper leak incidents. The MPs carried symbolic items, including a copy of the Constitution and the national flag, to signify their support for the aggrieved students. This act of protest underscored the opposition's ongoing campaign against what they describe as a failure of the current examination management system.

Rahul Gandhi used the occasion to sharpen his critique of the government, specifically targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Education Minister. He reiterated demands for the Education Minister's resignation and called for a formal apology to the student community. Gandhi alleged that over the past decade, 152 paper leaks have occurred, affecting approximately 7.5 crore students, while asserting that these incidents have resulted in zero convictions.

The protest also highlighted the evolving relationship between Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) amidst the wider student agitation. While both parties are part of the opposition bloc, reports suggest varying approaches to the CJP protests and the broader examination controversy.
