Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy added to the political pressure by describing the Union Education Ministry as 'jinxed' during public remarks addressing the student agitations. Reddy credited the youth for driving the protest movement and proposed a major constitutional reform to lower the minimum age for contesting Lok Sabha and State Assembly elections from 25 to 21 years, arguing that young adults deserve a direct role in policymaking.
