F5 Integrates NVIDIA NeMo to Boost Enterprise AI Security

F5 has launched a new security solution called F5 AI Guardrails, designed to work in tandem with NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails. This integration aims to strengthen the security of enterprise artificial intelligence by providing centralized policy enforcement and rigorous inspection for AI applications moving into production. The primary goal is to separate security enforcement from the underlying AI frameworks, allowing organizations to maintain consistent governance across a wide variety of AI models and infrastructure types. This modular approach ensures that security measures do not slow down the rapid pace of AI development.

The solution specifically targets the most common and damaging threats to large language models (LLMs). These include prompt injection attacks, where malicious actors attempt to manipulate AI outputs, and the accidental exposure of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). By implementing these guardrails, F5 ensures that AI applications do not produce harmful or malicious outputs that could damage a company's reputation or lead to legal liabilities.
