Chidambaram Alleges BJP Wooing Opposition for Constitution Bill

Senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is actively seeking support from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) to facilitate the passage of a controversial Constitution Amendment Bill. During the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, Chidambaram claimed that the true objective of the proposed legislation extends beyond its public promise of increasing women's representation in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.
