Drills Across Critical National Sectors:

CERT-In conducted ten cybersecurity exercises and drills during June and July 2026, focusing on building resilience against frontier AI-driven cyber threats. These exercises engaged 1,470 participants from 345 public and private organizations spanning critical infrastructure sectors including power, telecom, banking, transport, and health.

Expansion of Global Capability Centers:

Concurrently, the number of cybersecurity companies with Global Capability Centers in India has nearly doubled in the past six years, increasing from approximately 30 to 59. This growth highlights India's expanding role in cybersecurity engineering, threat intelligence, and advanced digital product development.
