CDAC and GSI Partner to Integrate AI in Mineral Exploration

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and the Geological Survey of India have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to integrate artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and advanced digital technologies. Announced on August 5, 2026, this strategic collaboration aims to fundamentally transform how geoscience research and mineral exploration are conducted nationwide. By combining high-performance computing power with geological data, the initiative seeks to modernize traditional exploration methodologies across the country.
