CBI Reveals Latur Tutor Paid for NEET Paper Leak

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has uncovered a bribery link between a Latur-based coaching center owner and an National Testing Agency (NTA) paper-setter in the NEET-UG 2026 examination leak. Investigators recovered 136 questions from the tutor’s mobile phone, with 111 questions reportedly matching the master set used in the official examination. The tutor allegedly paid ₹5 lakh to secure unauthorized access to the confidential question paper before the exam was conducted.

This revelation highlights systemic vulnerabilities within the testing infrastructure that allow for paper compromises. The CBI has been scrutinizing digital evidence, including communication records and financial transactions between private coaching entities and examination authorities.
