BMW Opens India Bookings For Updated 7 Series And i7 Sedans

BMW India has officially commenced bookings for the refreshed 7 Series and its all-electric counterpart, the i7. Interested customers can register their interest through authorized dealerships or the official BMW India website. The mid-lifecycle update follows the international debut of these flagship luxury models earlier this year. Both vehicles feature refined exterior styling, most notably a redesigned front end with an illuminated kidney grille and a sophisticated split-headlight arrangement.

The latest 7 Series and i7 iterations offer significant cabin enhancements, including a fully redesigned dashboard anchored by a 17.9-inch central touchscreen and a 14.6-inch passenger display. Performance has also been bolstered across the range. The 740i petrol and 740d diesel variants see power increases of 19hp and 27hp respectively. The i7, meanwhile, transitions to a larger 112.4kWh battery pack, providing improved range and power outputs that reach up to 680hp in the top-tier M70 xDrive trim, marking a comprehensive upgrade over previous versions.

These luxury sedans continue to compete directly with the Mercedes S-Class in the Indian market. While official pricing remains subject to final confirmation upon delivery, market analysts anticipate a slight increase over current price points to reflect the interior and performance improvements.
