Bihar Police Arrest Fraudster Posing as NSA Advisor’s Covert Agent

Bihar Police have apprehended an individual who orchestrated an elaborate, long-running fraud scheme while impersonating a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and a covert agent for National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. The suspect’s deception was so sophisticated that he managed to build a massive business empire, with assets estimated at approximately  ₹100 crore, including a luxury Tesla vehicle and several high-end SUVs. The arrest occurred following a series of tip-offs regarding the man's extravagant lifestyle and frequent, unsubstantiated claims of having direct operational proximity to India’s top national security leadership. Authorities conducted targeted raids to dismantle the operation, which relied on forged credentials and unauthorized government insignia to influence local officials.

The investigation revealed that the suspect systematically used the appearance of official rank to secure lucrative contracts and bypass regulatory scrutiny. By sporting official government stickers on his luxury vehicles and maintaining an unauthorized security detail, he created a facade of authority that allowed him to manipulate administrative decisions. This case highlights a dangerous breach in local security protocols, where the prestige associated with national security roles was weaponized to facilitate financial crimes. Police successfully recovered a stash of illicit liquor from his premises, adding further weight to the criminal charges leveled against the perpetrator.

The accused now faces multiple charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including forgery, cheating, and impersonation, alongside violations of Bihar's strict prohibition laws.
