Berlin Pride Machete and Van Attack Suspect Shot Dead by Police

A deadly assault during Berlin's Christopher Street Day celebrations in Tiergarten park left one person dead and 29 others injured. The assailant, identified as 21-year-old German citizen Abdul Ballout of Lebanese heritage, drove a rented van into a crowd of pedestrians before exiting the vehicle to attack victims with a machete.
