Energy and Tourism Minister K.J. George and Bengaluru Urban Development Minister C.B. Krishna Byre Gowda inaugurated the new Kuvempu Theme Park in HBR Layout, Bengaluru, on August 11, 2026. The 1,500-square-meter public space was developed from scrub vegetation as a community activity hub.
CSR Funding and Amenities:
The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited developed the project under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative at an estimated cost of ₹4.65 crore. The facility features a 700-meter walking track, an open-air theater seating 100 people, a gazebo, children's play equipment, open-gym stations, and extensive landscaping.

Following the inauguration, the ministers initiated several infrastructure projects in the Sarvagnanagar constituency, including white-topping on Nagawara Main Road and the rejuvenation of Kacharakanahalli Lake.
