Fatal Attack on Activist's Father Follows West Bengal School Audit Campaign

A tragic death has sparked intense political unrest in West Bengal following an assault on the family of a volunteer with the 'School Thik Karo' (Fix the School) campaign. The victim, the father of a volunteer associated with the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) organization, succumbed to injuries sustained in a violent attack in North 24-Parganas. The incident allegedly occurred after the volunteer attempted to document the dilapidated state of a government-aided primary school, photographing infrastructure issues like cracked walls and poor facilities.
