Aprilia has introduced the Tuono 457 Special Edition, a refined iteration of its popular naked bike designed for improved rider comfort. Key modifications include a 10mm higher handlebar with new risers and a seat with increased padding, which raises the effective seat height by 10mm. These adjustments aim to create a more relaxed riding triangle without sacrificing the bike's fundamental performance geometry.

The motorcycle retains its potent 457cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 47.6 hp and 43.5 Nm of torque. Engineers have focused on ride quality by softening the suspension settings, with reduced damping and spring rates both front and rear. This approach ensures better performance on diverse Indian road conditions. A fly screen and adjustable brake levers are now included as standard features, with a bi-directional quickshifter offered as a popular optional accessory.

Priced at Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom), the Special Edition sits in a more competitive space following recent GST adjustments. By narrowing the price gap with rivals like the KTM 390 Duke to roughly Rs 50,000, Aprilia is positioning the Tuono 457 as a premium, comfort-focused alternative for enthusiasts. The bike maintains its 175 kg weight, ensuring it remains an agile option within the sub-500cc naked sports segment.
