Amaal Mallik Slams Tanishk Bagchi Over Saiyaara Song Dispute

Music composer Amaal Mallik has launched a sharp public attack on fellow composer Tanishk Bagchi through a long post on X, accusing him of copying music and stealing original tracks. Amaal referred to Bagchi as Mr Remix and Destroyer of Originals while raising serious professional allegations. He claimed that Bagchi secured his position on the project Saiyaara by taking a song originally created by Faheem Abdullah and Arsalan Nizami right from under their noses.

The public feud follows a recent royalty dispute where Tanishk Bagchi alleged that he had not received Rs 8 lakhs in royalty payments for the title track of Saiyaara. Amaal questioned why Bagchi targeted Yash Raj Films instead of T-Series when Bagchi frequently claimed that T-Series owed him crores. Amaal also alleged that Bagchi engaged in paid public relations campaigns to damage the prospects of competing industry projects including Awarapan 2.

The heated exchange highlights ongoing tensions within the Bollywood music industry regarding royalty distributions, original compositions, and credit sharing. Amaal warned rival elements that attempts to manipulate public opinion or soundtrack success through paid PR would ultimately fail. As of now, Tanishk Bagchi has not issued any public response to these allegations.
