Visa has announced a strategic partnership with the merchant SaaS platform Mintoak to transform acquiring services across the Asia Pacific region. By integrating Mintoak's cloud-native, API-led platform with Visa's extensive payments network and data analytics, the collaboration aims to provide financial institutions with advanced tools for merchant engagement and payment acceptance. This move allows banks to move beyond traditional transaction-based models toward platform-led merchant solutions.

The initiative specifically targets the underpenetrated small and medium-sized business (SME) sector.
