Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, *Jana Nayagan*, has officially received an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) following a challenging seven-month legal and procedural struggle. The approval process required 12 specific editorial modifications to ensure compliance with certification standards. The film’s total runtime remains 183 minutes, with 20 seconds of content excised to meet board mandates. This marks the second time in the actor's career his film has received an adult rating, with the first being the 2002 film *Baghavathi*.

The censor board’s extensive list of required changes included the removal or muting of references to the actor’s political party, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), and visual representations of historical figures such as Dr. B.
