Delhi Police have arrested a hotel cook in connection with the devastating fire at the Flourish Stays Hotel in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar, which tragically claimed 21 lives. The cook, who was remanded to two days of police custody, reportedly told investigators that the fatal blaze erupted after a spark in a deep fryer or an electric stove explosion in the kitchen. Among the deceased and injured are multiple foreign nationals, thirteen of whom are currently undergoing medical treatment at the Max Hospital complex in Saket.
