According to industry reports, the actor has signed on to headline an untitled thriller that delves into themes of morality, ethics, and complex societal dynamics. While the official announcement remains pending, the film is currently in the script development phase with production anticipated to commence by the end of 2026.

The partnership is significant given the cult status of Dil Chahta Hai, which redefined contemporary Hindi cinema upon its release in 2001.
