The death of 26-year-old Pune realtor Ketan Vishal Agarwal, which occurred on June 19 at Lohagad Fort, has been officially reclassified from an accidental fall to a premeditated homicide. Initial reports claimed Agarwal fell 400 feet into a gorge due to high winds during a trek, but police scrutiny of digital evidence—including data from Instagram and hidden documents—contradicted this narrative. Two individuals, including the victim's fiancée, Siya Goyal, have been apprehended by Pune Police following the discovery of a planned conspiracy.

Investigations revealed that the murder was meticulously orchestrated, with evidence suggesting a failed attempt on Agarwal’s life four days prior involving a staged snake scare. Authorities uncovered a clear motive linked to an illicit affair between the suspects. The suspects had reportedly planned the act under the guise of a pre-wedding photoshoot.
