K2 Airways Cargo Plane Missing Off Karachi Coast With Five Crew

A massive search and rescue operation is currently underway in the Arabian Sea after a Boeing 737 cargo aircraft vanished off the coast of Karachi on Tuesday night. The plane, operated by private carrier K2 Airways, was flying from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates to Karachi when it lost contact with air traffic controllers at 21:21 local time (21:51 IST). Aviation officials reported that the aircraft experienced a rapid descent just before disappearing from radar. The Pakistan Navy and Air Force have deployed specialized units to conduct a thorough search of the suspected crash area in the Arabian Sea.
