Ocean Network Express Unveils JTI Service Boosting Asia-India Trade

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has launched its new Japan–Thailand–Vietnam–Indian Subcontinent (JTI) service, a consolidated maritime route designed to improve logistics efficiency across major Asian and Indian markets. This new loop integrates three previous service models—TIP, JT1, and JV2—into a single, high-frequency rotation to streamline cargo flows between key manufacturing hubs and consumption centers.

The consolidation stems from ONE's broader strategy to bolster East Asia–Japan network connectivity and optimize vessel deployment. By creating a unified service loop, the company addresses the need for more reliable schedules and expanded port coverage, allowing for greater flexibility in managing the complexities of modern, long-distance supply chains in the Indo-Pacific region.

The service rotation explicitly includes major Indian ports such as Nhava Sheva, Pipavav, and Colombo, which are critical nodes for India's external trade. This expansion is expected to enhance transit reliability for Indian exporters and importers by providing more robust maritime links to Southeast Asian manufacturing hubs, thereby lowering logistics overheads and facilitating smoother trade operations.
